We are located just 90 minutes from Chicago, 14 miles South of Rockford, one block off of Illinois Route 2 in Downtown Byron.     We are easy to find. With a lot for parking behind our shop, we can easily accommodate buses and RVs. If you are coming in a large group, call ahead, and we will have refreshments waiting for you. Located less than a block from three unique restaurants, you can easily plan an all-day excursion including lunch or dinner. Our regular store hours are Tuesday thru Friday 10:00-5:00, Saturday 10:00-1:00, evenings by appointment. We would be pleased to offer a special program to sewing guilds, clubs and other groups. From the North and East -- Chicago/Rockford area: Take US 20 around Rockford to the exit for Route 2, towards Oregon (in Rockford this is Main Street). Follow the highway along the scenic Rock River into Byron, Illinois. At the first stop light turn right onto Union Street. At the stop sign turn left onto Second Street. We are the third shop on the left. From the South -- Dixon/Oregon area: Take Route 2 North towards Rockford. In Byron turn left at Union Street. At the stop sign turn left onto Second Street. We are the third shop on the left. From the West -- Freeport/Forreston area: Take US 20 to Route 72 (Forreston). Take Route 72 through Leaf River into Byron. Turn left at Union Street. At the stop sign turn left onto Second Street. We are the third shop on the left.
