At Jeannie’s Just Sew Shop, classes are a time of
fun and creativity where students enjoy one another’s companionship under the
guidance of a professional sewing instructor.
Classes and clubs are held in a multi-media
classroom containing state of the art equipment. Instructors in lecture and
demonstration classes use a closed circuit television. This enables each person
to see exactly what the instructor is demonstrating. In hands-on workshops our
classroom is arranged so that each student has adequate room for cutting,
planning and sewing. Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine or
use one of our classroom top-of-the-line Husqvarna Viking Sewing machines or
sergers.

functions and capabilities of the Huskylock serger. At club meetings members
work on a project that applies a particular serger stitch or technique using
fabrics and threads which highlight that stitch or technique. In past Serger Clubs members have learned to
apply lace, beading, and elastic, flatlock, blanket stitch, and use decorative
threads.
Serger Club meets 6 times a year. Call for
details.
Classes are taught three times a day to
accommodate most schedules. The times are 9:30-12:30, 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00

Husqvarna Viking and Huskylock Owner’s Classes
Jeannie’s Just Sew Shop is known for its
support and service of Husqvarna Viking Sewing machines. Individuals who
purchase their machine from Jeannie are provided with quality service as well as
thorough classes. Individuals who attend these classes sew with confidence and
admittedly use their sewing machine more than individuals who do not attend such
classes. No other Viking dealer provides
classes that are even comparable with those offered at Jeannie’s Just Sew
Shop.
Owner’s classes do not teach how to sew,
rather these classes are designed to help owners of Husqvarna Viking sewing
machines and sergers use their machines to the FULLEST POTENTIAL! Attendees
receive a Viking Owner’s Handbook in the first class session. Well-organized,
interesting, and fun, in each session class members are introduced to their
machine, sew samples using different presser feet that come with the machine as
well as extra accessory feet, and learn which stitches, threads, and needles are
appropriate for particular fabric types and sewing functions.
Owner’s Classes are scheduled throughout the
year. If you purchased your sewing machine at Jeannie’s Just Sew Shop, you
will be contacted when the classes for your machine model are being taught. In
the case that you purchased elsewhere, call Jeannie and she will arrange for you
to attend classes, if room is available. A class fee is charged to individuals
who have not purchased their machine at Jeannie’s Just Sew Shop.
All Husqvarna Viking sewing machine and
Huskylock Serger Owner’s Classes are taught by Jeannie R. Kretsinger.
