| I sleep. I eat. And when I'm awake I really like my vibrator chair! | I've discovered the magic of a smile! And I can occasionally make some funny sounds that cause the grownups around me to go crazy. I prefer to lie on my tummy. I now wake just once at night to eat. | I have just begun to sleep through the night. And just yesterday I found my feet. My chins are ticklish and so is my tummy. Like most people, I enjoy attention, especially when it comes from my brother. |

| I now weigh 17 pounds. I love to make noise. I've discovered my hands and occasionally am able to make them grasp hold of toys. I'm very happy and content, reserving my cries for when I find myself in uncomfortable places, like my car seat! | I am a very happy boy, cooing and laughing all day long. I roll from tummy to back, and if only my arm were not in the way, I could roll from back to tummy. I stick everything in my mouth. My first tooth arrived just in time for the Thanksgiving Meal. And, I now sleep in my own room at night (although I still like to wake around 4am, just to join Mommy in her bed!) | I can now roll both from tummy to back and back to tummy. However, I'm not really a log roller. I am still a very happy boy. In fact, I rarely cry. I now have two teeth, and continue to stick everything in my mouth. I've begun to play with toys. I know how to make a rattle make noise. Oh, and my Mommy is very pleased that I am consistently sleeping through the night every night. |

| I chant ga-ga-ga all day long. I'm very happy, and am always ready with a smile or laugh. I'm now eating baby food and drinking from a cup. I have 4 teeth. I'm almost sitting solo. I have discovered mobility, just can't quite figure it out. Seems I'm always headed the wrong way. Oh, and this month I only slept through the night 3 nights, but it was the last three days of the month, so Mommy has high hopes for month #7! | Watch out! I'm on the loose. Just yesterday I figured out how to crawl forwards. I'm eating meals with the family. My favorite food is yogurt! I love attention - even when it comes from strangers at Wal-Mart. However, don't let Mommy out of my sight. She is the most important person in my life. (When she is not around I am VERY unhappy!) My favorite toy this month was a Mylar helium balloon. (It recently popped, too many teeth). And, Mommy notes that I'm sleeping through the night more often than I'm not... | In the past 30 days not only have I learned how to crawl, I'm also learning navigational skills. The first two weeks I was happy to sit on my knees to play. But then I discovered how to pull up to stand. Mommy remains an important part of my life. So important, I really don't enjoy life if I can't see her. I like Cheerios, and a trail across the living room floor keeps me quite busy. Uncle Ken visited this month. He is ok. He gave me my new favorite toy, a red hammer. I carry it everywhere. I also went to my first Mom's Day Out this month. |

| Had visitor's this month. Grandpa and Grandma K. Now that I'm 9 mo old, I am fast! I love being outside and always head for the street. I observe everything. I'm can cruise, but prefer to crawl. A direct path -- even if it means going under the coffee table is always best. I believe Tupperware was meant to be on the kitchen floor. I play for long periods all by myself. I've figured the entire house out and know exactly where I want to go and how to get there. I take two naps a day, a 2-3 hour nap in the late morning and a 30 minute snooze just before supper. Sometimes I sleep through the night. If I don't get my way I scream really loud! I love Quaker oatmeal (the stuff Daddy eats, not baby food). And I'm now drinking cow's milk. I love my brother. And, the neighbors are convinced that I never, ever cry. | I can now drink from a spill proof sippy cup. I call Benjamin NA NA, and Mommy MAMA and Daddy DADA! I now climb. And very occasionally I stand on my own. I follow Benjamin everywhere. My favorite thing to do is drop a small ball and chase after it. My favorite foods are baked beans and melted cheese sandwiches. Carrots and broccoli are ok too. I'm learning my limits, which means I know what "pretty," "don't touch" and "no-no" mean. And, just recently I've begun to pout when I am corrected. If the door to the garage is opened I am in the garage faster than a blink of the eye. And, I continue to love it outside. If given just 3 seconds of freedom I head for the street. I love to swing. And, I'm learning how to sit when given rides in the wagon. | I've begun to give kisses. Open mouth and very wet, but they are kisses. I've mastered eating with a fork, and insist that I'm given an adult looking fork! (no baby stuff for me). I am really enjoying the fruits of the season -- strawberries, blueberries, and all types of melon. Tomatoes are good too. I cruise at top speed. I only take one nap a day, but it's a long one (11am-2 or 3pm). I recognize myself in a mirror. I like to give myself kisses! I am learning to stack things. I like music. I like water. I like balls - especially if they bounce. I'm a very content child and Mommy describes me as sweet! |

| I am one year old! I now eat with a fork. I take just one nap each day. I almost always sleep through the night. I can just barely walk. It requires much work and concentration. I've learned to go up and down steps quickly. I can say about 10 words. And, I now follow basic commands -- "go get your shoes." I understand what it means when Mom says things like, "we're going out side" or "time for bed." I drive cars and roll balls. I love water. I love the sand box. I visited my relatives in IL this month, where I celebrated my first birthday! I especially enjoyed riding the tractor with Papa. |
