Growing inch by inch and smile by smile, baby stays little just a short while.

I sleep (up to 4 hours). I eat (a lot). I've stayed up for four hours, and Mommy says I have a wonderful cry! I have now met my grandparents - all four of them. For the most part I simply lie around all day long. Occasionally I gripe and once in awhile I kick my legs or wiggle my arms.   I'm beginning to wake up and notice the world around me. I am becoming a little more generous with my smiles. And, my Mommy says I have earned the name "Nate the Saint" since I began sleeping 7-8 hours at night.

I had my first ear infection. Other than that, I'm a very content and happy baby. I demand little - although I really do love to be held. I flew on an airplane from AK to OK and then to IL. I really didn't notice a thing. I'm now surrounded with grandparents and find myself reading Louis L'amour with Grandpa in the evenings. However, I am aware of who mom.  I'm finally rolling over. Later this month I'll be Baby Jesus in the Church Nativity. I am eager with my smiles. And I'm still reading Louis L'amour in the evenings with Grandpa.

After two months in IL I have returned to AK. I returned home with 2 bottom teeth. I sleep in my crib. I've begun to eat baby food. And I'm nearly sitting up. I have finally master the art of sitting. I am now army crawling with a purpose. I am growing fat, now that I am a bottle fed baby. And when I smile I crinkle my nose. Plus, I have two upper teeth to match my lower ones. I have a sense of direction. It doesn't matter where I am at, I am able to quickly reach my brother's rooms or the stairs. I love cheerios.  I continue to growl and for fun I beat my bottle on the floor.
