Just home from the hospital, I sleep all the time, but what else is there to do? I can track with my eyes, raise my head, and melt my parents hearts when I smile.  I found my voice, talk all day long, play on my own for short periods, and have twice rolled from stomach to back, but I'm not sure how.

I recently discovered that I have hands and feet. I flew to America, visited family and now live in a hotel. I stick everything in my mouth, squeal with delight, and like to giggle. In addition, I have a bed of my own, and we keep it in my room.   I've become a very social little boy. I've started eating cereal, fruit, and sweet potatoes.  And I can sit a full minute before I topple over.

I can sit, although still shaky. And, I can roll over and over. I eat lots of foods, including table food like fruit and cooked vegetables. I really like ice cream. I have two teeth. And I now notice when Mom or Dad is not around. Then I cry. I am on the move! In fact, it took 8 pictures until my parents were able to get me to sit still long enough for this picture. I have 3 teeth now and 4 more pushing through. I'm very happy. I love to laugh. And, I can say da-da-da. I like the sound so much I call everything da-da-da. I love to stand! I pull up on anything & everything. And, I love to walk around things! I often let go, but due to a lack of balance I fall on the floor. This really doesn't bother me. I just get up and try, try, try again. I now have 6 teeth to chew stuff, including my Mom! I only use a pacifier in bed. Oh, and I just figured out how to feed myself a cheerio!

I am a very busy boy! I am discovering new things everyday. I open cupboard doors and can find things placed under other things. I've finally mastered the art of crawling. I really don't have much time to sit anymore, unless I'm looking at a book. Really, I don't act like a baby anymore. I eat table food. I drink from a cup. I go to sleep all by myself.  I am finally mastering the art of balance. I can stand a little bit longer everyday. I've tried to take a few steps...but just end up on my face. I flew to Illinois this past month and visited most of my relatives. While in IL I learned to go up and down the stairs. I crawled out of the bed Grandma Kretsinger had for me too!  I love to stand and push things around the house. I push the kitchen chairs, the laundry basket, my toys, and even mom. I'm very good at maneuvering around the furniture. I also figured out how to climb up and down a little step stool. I love to use the stool to get up in Mommy's chair and sit and sit. I love to be outside.

Twelve Months Old
I'm now one year old! I can walk when I want to, although I really prefer to crawl. I'm a very slow eater, although I'm willing to eat just about anything. I can follow simple commands (sit down, go get your shoes, roll the ball, etc). I recognize some words (fan, light, airplane, shoes, etc). I point at everything. I wave bye-bye when appropriate.
